- How Do I search for Candidates?
Click Search Medical Professionals on your tool bar. Passive and Active candidates will appear. You can then narrow your search by entering a location, specialties, job functions and call point. You can narrow you search further by performing a resume key word search which will narrow your search to those have posted a resume containing the key word(s) you entered.
- What is a "Shout Out"?
It's a tool where you can broadcast a message to multiple users based on your search results. For example, if you search for a candidate and more than one appears that you are interested in, you can select two or more of those candidates and send a broadcast email to them. You can also send a message to multiple recruiters advertising a (MPC) using this feature.
- What is Medmatch?
Medmatch is a tool that helps you with your search by automatically matching medical profiles with your job requirements. Medmasters compares the requirements of your job posting with that of existing Medmasters' community members and any new registered users. These matching results will appear next to your posted job in your "my jobs" section on your dashboard. You can elect to receive email notifications of matching professionals that meet your job requirements. When posting your jobs be sure to complete the Medmatch questions so that candidate matching results are most accurate( i.e. willing to relocate).
- Is there a limit to the number of jobs I may post as a Recruiter/Employer?
Recruiters and Employers may post an unlimited number of jobs as long as each position represents a legitimate, current opportunity. Posting jobs that do not exist will result in the immediate cancellation of your membership. Medmasters.com reserves the right to delete any job posting that we determine does not fit the focus of this web site or that does not contain a valid e-mail address.
- How soon is a job visible on the site after I post it?
Immediately. Medmasters.com is a real time database so that when you post or renew a job it is instantly viewable on the site by candidates until it expires. You must complete the job posting form within twenty minutes or you will be timed out of your database connection and have to log in again. When you click the Post New Job button at the bottom, you will immediately see the new job at the top of your Current Jobs list.
- How long does a job remain posted?
All jobs remain active until removed by the job poster. When a job expires it moves from your Current Jobs List (which is viewable by candidates on the site) into your Archived Jobs Folder (which is NOT viewable by candidates on the site).
- How do I edit a job I have already posted?
Click the "Post Job" menu button to view your Current Jobs List and then select "Edit" next to the specific job you want to update. Make your changes and click the "Update Job" button to save your changes, which take effect immediately.
- How do I duplicate a job I have already posted?
Many times a recruiter or employer will have the same position available in different locations around the country (ten new pharmaceutical sales jobs in ten different cities for example). With the copy feature, you can post all of your identical positions in just minutes and they will each show up in the appropriate geographic locations when candidates search the Medmasters.com job database. Click the "Post Job" menu button to view your Current Jobs List and then select the "Copy" link next to the specific job you want to recreate. A duplicate job form will be displayed. You will then need to change the zip code to reflect the new territory, then below the zip code, change the territory that corresponds with the new zip code. Then click "save changes" button to save your new posting. Repeat as many times as needed for each location.
- How do I delete a job I have already posted?
Click the "My Jobs" tab on your toolbar to view your Current Jobs List and then select "Delete" next to the specific job you want to remove. You will then be prompted to confirm your choice before permanently deleting the job from the Medmasters.com database.. As a precaution against errors, you may only delete one job at a time.
- How do I perform a resume key word search?
When searching for a medical professional or candidate you can enter a resume key word(s) and those candidates with resumes containing those key words will appear. Sometimes a candidate may hide their resume from public view and you will need to request the resume by clicking "request resume".

- How do I cancel my account?
You can cancel your account by clicking "My Account tab" on your profile home screen. Select Cancel Account and this will cancel your premium membership.
- What is Medmail?
Medmail is Medmaster's very own "In Mail" system that allows you to communicate with other community members.
- What is My Tags?
"My Tags" is like a filing system used for quick recall of a profile. It is used to tag another profile for future reference. When viewing someone's profile you can tag them based on one of their specialties or job functions. You can then search your "My Tag" data based on job function, specialty and postal zip code.
